Household Hazardous Waste Collection in Local Communities
Passaic County
Passaic County's Department of Natural Resources has devoted three days to assist residents who wish to dispose of household hazardous waste. Residents are encouraged to set aside time on Saturday, June 5th, and Saturday, October 2nd to take advantage of this FREE disposal program. Proof of residency is required.

The following items must be delivered in marked containers with original labels: |

- Propane Tanks
- Solvents and Thinners
- Varnishes and Waxes
- Corrosives and Cleaners
- Pool Chemicals
- Oil Based Paints
- Aerosol Cans
- Kerosene

- Photographic chemicals
- Fluorescent Light Bulbs
- Car Batteries
- Used Motor Oil and Oil Filters
- Antifreeze
- Old Gasoline/Oil Mix
- Flares
- Fire Extinguishers
- Mercury Switches and Thermometers

UNACCEPTABLE MATERIALS
