Our call specialists respond to citizens who are in need of food; clothing; shelter; medical services; financial assistance; day care services; respite care; treatment centers and so much more. Often these people call us when they don’t know where else to turn.
Thanks to 2-1-1, they have only to pick up the phone to be connected with a caring professional who knows about local resources, and state and federal programs that may provide the very service that will make all of the difference.
Our Web site provides access to this resource database as well, so people can research programs and services on their own if they prefer. Along with that, the Web site offers a growing online reference library that provides easy-to-understand explanations about how programs and services work in our state; phone numbers and helpful links.

You are encouraged to dial “2-1-1” 24 hours a day, seven days a week if you need help in understanding and finding available assistance services. Language translation and TTY services are offered to any caller. You can also
search the database of services in your local community or Chat Live with an experienced community resource specialist. 2-1-1 will help identify with you the best local resources to fit your individual needs during times of financial distress or for life’s everyday situations.
