Leadership

There is strong leadership and talent committed to the successful implementation and maintenance of 2-1-1. The 16 member Board of Directors includes representatives from both the public and private sectors. Members include:

Thomas Toronto
Chairman Tom Toronto is the President and CEO of Bergen County's United Way. Mr. Toronto has more than 20 years of experience working for local United Ways in Bergen, Hudson and Burlington counties. He previously held positions at Bergen County's United Way that included Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President. Mr. Toronto is also active in local community affairs. He is a past member of the governing body of Leonia, New Jersey. Currently he serves his community as a member of the Library Board of Trustees, as a member of the Planning Board, and as chair of the Downtown Redevelopment Task Force.
