Service Description:

St. Clare’s Housing Program provides supportive housing to people living with HIV/AIDS, including a transitional program (Brighter Beginnings) for HIV-positive women. These affordable, desirable homes help families provide stability needed to live healthy lives. The Housing Program at St. Clare’s is committed to assisting people living with HIV/AIDS find and obtain suitable housing, utility, and rental assistance. St. Clare's Housing Program provides these services in large part through the Housing Opportunities for Persons With AIDS (HOPWA) funding and ARFC’s 46-unit Permanent Scattered Site Housing program. There are also 40 additional ARFC-owned and maintained housing units for people living with HIV/AIDS in the Newark area with site-based rental subsidies in place.
