Service Description:

The Temporary Financial Assistance Program (TFA) awards cash grants to active military and veterans with children to assist with living costs. Assistance is provided for the following:

- Shelter
- Food
- Utilities
- Health expenses

None

Eligibility:

Temporary Financial Assistance (TFA) is limited to minor children (17 years or younger) whose parent, or legal guardian, is a veteran.

Children 18-20 years old will also be considered if a current disability requires special schooling or indefinite in-home care, or they are enrolled in an approved high school and unmarried.
