Agency: Community Grants, Planning & Housing (CGP&H)
Service Description:

Affordable Homes New Jersey works with 30 municipalities throughout New Jersey, helping low and moderate income residents obtain affordable housing for rent and for sale. Senior and disabled housing also may be available. The website takes applications, screens applicants, maintains waiting lists, lists available properties, and helps households get into the home of their choice.

None to apply. Rent and sale prices are regulated by the state of New Jersey.

Income limits apply, but exact limits vary by municipality and by unit. A background and credit check will be required, and considered as part of an applicant's eligibility.

Application Instructions:

Please visit the website to complete a preliminary application. Eligible applications are randomly selected for prioritization, however special consideration is also given to households in need of available handicap accommodation, and households that live or work in the available unit's area.
