Service Description:

The National Runaway Safeline provides non-judgmental, listening-based crisis services to runaway, at-risk, and/or homeless youth, and their families. Participants can connect with staff members either through the hotline or online via chat support or the forum. Services include:

- Crisis intervention
- Information and referral
- Facilitating conference calls between youth and parents/agencies
- A messaging service where youth can communicate with their parents without directly interacting with them
- Home Free: Provides a free bus ride home for qualified youth (in partnership with Greyhound Lines)

All services are completely confidential.

Eligibility:

Open to youth who have runaway from home, are at-risk, or are homeless.
