Service Description:

Legal Services at Legal Aid of Southeastern Pennsylvania (LASP) provides services in civil cases and small claims. In addition, Pro Bono programs operating in all five counties are avenues through which private attorneys willing to donate their time, advise and represent low-income clients, victims of domestic abuse and the elderly.

Legal Services include:

- Benefits appeals and assistance (SSI, TANF, SNAP, and other benefits)
- Consumer problems (including bankruptcy, foreclosure, credit card issues, and fraud)
- Custody
- Elder law issues
- Employment (including unemployment compensation)
- Expungement of criminal records
- Housing (including Landlord/Tenant disputes, Public Housing and Section 8)
- Protection from abuse
- Social Security
- Utilities




Open to low income residents of Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia Counties.
