Service Description:

The Visiting Homemaker Service of Warren County coordinates the following six volunteer programs, geared towards serving elderly/disabled individuals in Warren County:

- Chore Corps
- Essential Medical Transportation
- Bill Payer
- Volunteer Shopping
- Friendly Visitor
- Telephone Reassurance

Volunteers assist the elderly and disabled individuals, so that they can remain in their homes/community while preserving their highest level of self-sufficiency.

Fees:

Free of charge.

Eligibility:

Volunteer services are open to all. All other services are available to adults over the age of 60 and those who are physically disabled.

Application Instructions:

Applicants interested in volunteer opportunties should call the main office for more information. For those interested in other services, a referral is first required from the Warren County Division of Aging & Disability Services.
