Service Description:

Long Term Care Ombudsman advocates on behalf of consumers for quality of life and care relating to personal care, nursing care , environment, food and activities. The program educates consumers about their rights pertaining to admissions, transfer and discharge, personal funds, physician services, nursing and personal care. The program will also answers question about long term care services and programs such as Medical Assistance and Medicare benefits; and protects the identity of complainants upon request and respect confidentiality.




Serves long-term care residents in nursing homes, personal care homes, domiciliary care homes and adult day care centers located in Center City, South Philadelphia, Southwest Philadelphia, North Philadelphia and West Philadelphia. Will help any caller with concerns about long term care.
