Service Description:

The Bernice Muha Senior Center offers activities and services for adults, ages 60 and older, which enhance their dignity, support their independence, and encourage involvement in and with the community. The center includes ample outdoor space, as well as billiard tables, shuffleboard, card tables, ping-pong, tv/movie room, computer lab, fitness and exercise room, swimming pool, bocce court, and more. Programs include:

- Health and fitness activities
- Education programs
- Recreation and socialization events
- Volunteer opportunities
- Nutrition program (lunches Mon - Fri)
- Non-emergency transportation service (pre-registration required)
- AARP tax assistance
- Emergency cell phone program (dials 911 only)
- Medical equipment loan closet (canes, crutches, commodes, walkers, wheelchairs, etc.)
- NJ EASE information and assistance
- Health screenings (by appointment only)
- Telephone reassurance
- PAAD/Senior Gold prescription cards
- SHIP Medicare insurance assistance program
- County surrogate assistance (by appointment only)
- Handyman Helpers small home repairs program (must pay for materials)


Most programs are free. However, there is a small fee for some programs. Please call for more information.


Open to Hamilton Township residents, ages 60 and older. Some programs are open to all Mercer County residents, ages 60 and older. Please call for more information.
