The HUD Resource Directory is a map-based search tool that allows users to find affordable housing resources in their area. Resources that can be found through this tool include:
- Multifamily housing facilities (low income, elderly, and special needs)
- Low income housing units (some low-rent units for eligible income earners)
- USDA rural housing facilities
- Public Housing Authorities
- Public housing developments
- Homelessness Continuum of Care (CoC) program points of contact

Each resource found in the directory is labeled with one or more icons indicating the HUD program(s) that are being offered at the location, as well as contact information.

Fees:

None to use the directory. Most housing options will require a subsidized rental rate.
