Help Me Grow (HMG) is your free, confidential telephone access point that connects families with young children (birth to 5 years old) with local family support services. A community resource specialist will speak with you about your needs and connect you to your County Central Intake for local services and programs.
Through its system-wide approach, HMG seeks to:
- Assist parents and families to get connected with medical homes, home visiting and other community programs, early intervention, early childhood education, and family support services.
- Expand infant and child developmental and social-emotional screenings statewide.
- Simplify connections for pediatric and health care providers to community services for families of infants and young children in their care.
You can find a Central Intake Hub in your county by searching the NJ 2-1-1 Resource Database at the top of this page: Search by 'Program' and type in 'HMG' or by dialing 2-1-1 to speak to a trained Community Resource Specialist.
