Storm Recovery Resources
NJ 2-1-1 works in coordination with state and local government; United Ways of NJ; NJVOAD (NJ Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster) and other community partners throughout the state to gather the most comprehensive and accurate resources in times of disaster.
Emergency Shelters
Emergency shelters are locations that are available to homeless people all year long. During times of extreme weather conditions, these shelters expand their capacity as much as possible to ensure that community citizens are protected from inclement weather and dangerous situations.
