Help Me Grow

Help Me Grow (HMG) is a free, confidential telephone access point that connects families with young children (birth to 5 years old) with local family support services. A community resource specialist will speak with you about your needs and connect you to your County Central Intake for local services and programs.

Through its system-wide approach, HMG seeks to:

  • Assist parents and families in getting connected with medical homes, home visiting and other community programs, early intervention, early childhood education, and family support services.
  • Expand infant and child developmental and social-emotional screenings statewide.
  • Simplify connections for pediatric and health care providers to community services for families of infants and young children in their care.

You can find your county's Connect NJ office by searching the NJ 211 Resource Database or by dialing 2-1-1 to speak with a trained community resource specialist.
